Neighbourhood overview

Located just outside the extremely picturesque village of Morcott in England's smallest county of Rutland, we are very easy to find just off the A47. The village name is an Old English derivation of “a cottage on the moor”. The village is recorded as Morcote in the Domesday survey of 1086 and has many buildings of historic interest including the most notable example of Norman Architecture in the area which is the church featuring a Pancake window and the North Arcade which are well worth taking a look at! This is a very popular area for tourists who come from all over to visit Rutland Water, Stamford, Uppingham, Oakham and all the beautiful little villages dotted around these main towns. There are many great walks around here, all with astounding views.
Riding school, golf courses, Tennis courts and sailing club within a 10 minute drive
